What Happens in a Session?

First and foremost, what happens in a session is shaped to fit whatever is most appropriate to whomever is receiving the session, making every session unique. In your sesssion, you can expect your life coach to offer any or all of the following: 

  • Safe space to talk things out
  • Listening with unconditional acceptance, respect and support for your fundamental wholeness, creativity, natural flow and inner wisdom
  • Powerful questions that help generate insight, perspective, clarity, growth and forward motion
  • Reflecting back what you have to share so that you can get a chance to hear yourself
  • Help to hone down and organize your thoughts to make them clearer and more able to feed your positive forward motion
  • New tools and perspectives that help you to frame your experiences in a life affirming way so that you can continue to create more joy, health, ease and vibrance
  • Guidance and support in discovering and shifting limiting mindsets that might be holding you back into helpful attitudes and thought patterns that feed your highest expression and experience of life
  • Intuitive insights and guidance when appropriate
  • Recognition and celebration of your authentic gifts, abilities and true successes (which means that it is a success in your authentic estimation, not just what others might define as success)
  • Guidance and support to set clear intentions and visions, learn how to align with your intentions and tap into intuitive guidance to help you allow your intentions to manifest
  • Support and guidance in setting clear goals and identifying accessible action steps
  • Guidance in understanding and relating to your emotions in a clear, grounded and powerful way
  • Application of various energetic healing modalities, guided meditations and emotional release techniques to help you clear through blocked emotions, heal wounded areas and align yourself with good feelings and higher vibrations
  • Unconditional acceptance, love, support and respect, which oftentimes is all that a soul needs to allow itself to come forward in its full brilliance!

Session Structure

In every Balance Point Coaching session, you will be given five options to start your session.

Intentions:

You can begin the session by stating your Intentions for the session, what you would like to work on or what you would like to leave the session with, be it a concrete product or a feeling.

Check In:

A check in is a chance for you to share where you are at. During a check in, you are invited to download anything from your day to get present to the session, or you may use the time to update your coach on what has been going on in your life. You are free to share as much or as little as you want, whether its five minutes or an hour or more. Many people find the chance to check in to be both cathartic and to generate insight and clarity due to the open space to speak things out without interruption. During your check-in, your coach will quietly listen from a place of unconditional support. When you are done with your check-in, your coach will confirm that your check-in is complete. Your coach may then offer you feedback if you would like to receive it regarding what you shared. You may ask to receive the feedback or move onto another subject to begin coaching.

Grounding Meditation:

Julie will lead you through a short meditation to help you ground, get settled into the session, connect in with yourself and your intentions for the session.

Energy Work
